In 2014, Débora was invited to assume the position of Conductor of the Nantwich Community Training Band, as it was known at the time. During her tenure, the band grew in numbers and many of its members went on to join the main Nantwich Concert Band. Débora was also called upon to conduct the Nantwich Concert Band on several performances in the Nantwich town square and other concerts.

Around the same time, Débora was involved with the Nantwich Players Theatre. She was the MD for the Theatre’s production of Jamaica Inn (2014) and the youth theatre’s production of Teechers (2015), for which she also wrote a piece of original music.
